The faces of Sullivan County are many and varied. From a pre-schooler on his or her way to school for the first time to an army veteran home from the war to an artist tucked away in the mountains; it is all of us, living here together that make up the spirit of the county.
Here you will the meet artists, teachers and the veterans, the famous and the not so famous, the beloved and perhaps even the outrageous. And here you will see the faces of Sullivan County that – young or old – are as mystifyingly beautiful as leaves on an autumn tree, the first snowflake, the call of the geese in spring, or a hazy afternoon at a river’s edge.
We hope this section will inspire our readers, as they read the stories contained here, to drop us a line and let us know of others whose lives have touched them and left a lingering trace of heart’s ease, happiness, joy and even sorrow, that we may all get to know each other better – for knowledge is power and power is in the people.
