HORTONVILLE, NY (April 8, 2013) – On Saturday, April 13 at 7:00 p.m., the 27th Annual Hortonville Talent Show will grace the Hortonville Presbyterian Church. This year’s beneficiary is the Main Street Thrift Shop in Callicoon, which is sponsored by I.O.U. (Interfaith Outreach United).
The Annual Hortonville Talent Show is a fun-filled evening of family entertainment with acts you won’t see anywhere else, and with a few surprises.
There are new acts as well as many returning performers. Last year’s show included The Sturbridge Lions Quartet (photo left), who traveled from Pennsylvania to take part,
young violinist and pianist Amelia Brooks (photo right), and Joe Hofsommer (photo below), a long-time participant who plays music on a pen.
The Talent Show is not a competition and every
performer is a winner. A panel of judges awards special certificates for each with some very creative titles. This year’s judges are Carol Montana, editor of The Catskill Chronicle and Jonathan Charles Fox, columnist for The River Reporter.
Organizer and accompanist, Jane Orcutt will be there for the 27th year, and infamous Master of Ceremonies, Richard Ross will be introducing the acts for the 26th year.
Refreshments will be served after the show.
Suggested donation is $5 per person or $10 per family. For more info, please call Kathy at 845-887-4756 or Jane at 845 887-4346.

Thanks, Carol!!
