Sullivan County Chamber Honors 19 Individuals at 22nd Annual Pride Awards Gala

MONTICELLO, NY (April 10, 2013) – The Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce will honor 19 individuals as the “Pride” of their community.
The 22nd Annual Pride Awards Gala will be held on Sunday, May 5 at the Villa Roma Resort and will honor individuals throughout Sullivan County for their community involvement and their contributions to the economic development in the county.
Each year nominations are received from the Supervisors in each township and then winners are chosen by a committee of Past Business Persons of the Year.
One winner from each of the 15 townships is chosen as well as four countywide winners for Business Person of the Year, Distinguished Service to the County, Distinguished Achievement in the County and a Young Emerging Leader to be honored at the prestigious ceremony.
“This is an opportunity to recognize the people in our community that wouldn’t normally get recognized, but in our eye, deserve the most recognition” said Terri Ward, President/CEO of the Sullivan County Chamber of Commerce.
The 2013 Pride Award Winners are:
Bethel – Dan & Nancy Brey, Brey’s Egg Farm
Callicoon – Walter & Ella Ambrozewicz, Hills Resort & Village Market
Cochecton – Robert & Dennis Nearing, Cochecton Mills
Delaware – Guiseppe “Joe” Lentini, Peppino’s Restaurant
Fallsburg – New Hope Community
Forestburgh – Mike & Matt Jahn, Quality Painting & Taping
Fremont – Kenneth Redard, Redard Excavating Company
Highland – Elyse, Greg & John Bouloukis, BVH Sports Bar
Liberty – Bob Lavelle, State Farm Insurance
Lumberland – Alex Grech, Grech’s Millbrook Inn
