LIBERTY, NY (April 29, 2013) – The Greater Liberty Chamber of Commerce announces Fiesta de la Familia to be held on Saturday, May 4 in La Polt Park on North Main Street in the Village of Liberty from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m.

Last year’s Festival held by The Greater Liberty Chamber of Commerce was on Cinco de Mayo, May 5.

This year’s celebration will be more inclusive of all the Latino neighbors.

Did you know that Liberty has many residents who originate, from Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Venezuela, Cuba, Peru, Puerto Rico, Dominican Republic, and Spain? So, this year, Liberty is celebrating, "Fiesta de la Familia" for all of them! Everyone in Sullivan County is invited to come out and experience the pageantry and fun, learn about Latino culture, taste new foods and meet new friends.
