The Catskill Chronicle are sending Happy Mother’s Day wishes to all our readers who are mothers, grandmothers, aunts, and caretakers of any kind. And for all the men out there who have assumed the role of mother, please accept our thanks as well.

Pictured is the editor’s mother, Clara Montana, displaying a purse she received from her husband. He bought it when he passed through Hawaii on his way to the Pacific theater during WWII.
