Dale,

Thank you for sharing this wonderful reflection: Thanking the Sullivan County Soap Box Committee.

Our advisor, chaperones, parents, and team members had the most amazing experience, not just in Akron, but here with the Sullivan County Soap Box Derby.

I understand we were one of the few schools to have an entire team (our technology club) participate.  The team approach really amplified the impact of all of your efforts from one student/driver to eight enthusiastic students.

The overwhelming sentiment brought back from Akron was what a positive experience it was and how focused the entire event was on the kids.

Thank you, Rolling V, and the Sullivan County Soap Box Derby Committee for extending this invitation to our Livingston Manor students. It was, perhaps, a once-in-a-lifetime experience for some of these young people and, no doubt, made memories they will cherish forever.

We look forward to participating again in 2013.
