To the Editor:

The Great Sullivan County Foodrai$er / Musicians Gathering, in spite of horrific weather conditions, was a big success.

We collected close to ten thousand dollars in donations. We think this is an amazing figure considering so many were unable to attend due to the weather.

This reflects the heart of Sullivan County.

Special thanks to Chrissy and everyone at Dutch’s Tavern, Bill Sipos and the crew at Mr Willy’s, and, of course, Stacy and Monte and their staff at the Dancing Cat Saloon and the Catskill Distillery Company.

To all our volunteers. Thanks. Your efforts do not go unappreciated.

We are grateful to Steve Schwartz and Steve Thompson who provided all the sound equipment for each location for this incredible event.

To all the media, our thanks for spreading the word and always, always supporting us.

And finally, to all the wonderful musicians, none of whom canceled, who give so much of themselves and their talents to support this great cause. This evebt could not happen without them.
