Story and photos by Leni Santoro
We left Wurtsboro about 9:30 a.m. on Friday morning and headed off to Philadelphia. The plan was to go to Constitution Hall. What we would accomplish there was uncertain, but we had to start somewhere and a city, almost a sister to our own New York City, and one that was home to the Liberty Bell and Constitution Hall, with close personal ties to the Delaware, seemed appropriate.
From Philadelphia our plan has been to follow the Delaware River as closely as possible. and despite a few wrong turns now and then we have been successful so far.
At the moment we are in Bucks County near Nockamixon, Pa. We will have a much more expansive journal entry later on this evening, when we stop for the night before heading up to Hancock, NY in the morning.
In the meantime, feel free to peruse our photos at the Chronicle on Zenfolio.
Please bear with us as finding a wifi connection has so far proved difficult. We expect to be able to post the photos to Zenfolio this evening – Saturday – and to add to our trip details. Thanks for your patience and your prayers.

What a wonderful thing it is you do! Years ago I envisioned this happening with lights visible on every bridge in the upper delaware. My dream is now expanded!
Yes, let us go for it! Right on, my friends.
