What happened to the study of area Maybe a lake could be created on the old airport and turn that into a flood diversion area as well as a park! Could create great skating and fishing destination The first flood I remember was in the late 60’s Very scary with logs across the hunter road bridge! We were stuck up the cabin. My father couldnt get to us so he stayed at hunter lake lodge! It rained for a week. Frick pond dam broke and the mongaup was up to the road! We have many fond memories and love the catskills and friends we have made over the last 49 years.
It wasn’t that bad, my folks said.
My summer home … and home of a piece of my heart … love to all of you in and around the Manor … and all the way to Honesdale and Hawley, PA …
I spent 10 years in LM and LOVED every minute of it. My solidarity goes out to all of those affected by this catastrophic event !
Anyone know if Tuttle Hill Road is passable
Heart breaking to see this happen again to this small wonderful little town, which I grew up in. My thoughts and prayers go out to all my family and friends in L.M.N.Y. God Bless you all.
