SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY (September 5, 2013) – Primary elections will be conducted by the Sullivan County Board of Elections on Tuesday, September 10,
2013.
Polls will open at 12:00 Noon and close at 9:00 p.m.
Democratic primaries will be held in the Towns of Bethel, (for Supervisor, Council and Highway Superindentent, Mamakating (for Town Justice), Thompson (for Town Council) and Tusten (for Town Justice).
Republican Party primaries will be held in the Towns of Bethel (for Highway Superintendent), Fremont (for Town Council), Mamakating (for Supervisor and in MA 2 Town Committee as well), Thompson (for Supervisor) and Tusten (for Town Justice).
Conservative Party primaries will be held in the Towns of Liberty, Neversink and Thompson, all for Town Justice candidates.
Independence Party primaries will be held in the Towns of Liberty, Neversink, Thompson and Tusten, all for Town Justice candidates.
Only those voters registered to the parties holding a primary are eligible to vote. If you are going to be out of the County on Election Day please exercise your right to vote by Absentee Ballot.
