Cornell Cooperative Extension Wants Your Best Old Photos
September 13, 2013 by The Catskill Chronicle

SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY (September 13, 2013) – In celebration of its 100 years in Sullivan County, Cornell Cooperative Extension has announced the theme for its 4th Annual Calendar Photo Contest is “Sullivan County Over the Past 100 Years.”
The public is asked to look through their old photos for special shots of people and places in Sullivan County over the last century.
Some examples of photos that will stand out in this contest are captured memories of 4-H youth club trips, county fairs, agricultural activities, CCE fundraisers, and Home Bureau meetings. Entries do not have to involve CCE, but CCE-oriented photos will be favored. Photos not chosen may be used for other purposes.
Deadline for photos is Monday, September 30, 2013. Entries should be sent electronically as an attached bmp file to smd243@cornell.edu.
Photos and memorabilia can also be delivered to the Gerald J. Skoda Extension Education Center on 64 Ferndale-Loomis Road in Liberty. Contestant name, address, and contact information should be enclosed with anything that must be returned.
Questions can be directed to Susan Dollard at 845-292-6180.
