The National Weather Service In Binghamton Has Issued A Freezing Rain Advisory…Which Is In Effect From 7 AM To Noon EST Wednesday. * Locations…Northeast Pennsylvania…And Portions Of The Upper Susquehanna To Western Catskills Regions Of New York.
*Hazards…Light Coating Of Ice.
*Ice Accumulations…Less Than A Tenth Of An Inch Of Ice.
*Timing…Light Freezing Rain…Mixed With Sleet Or Snow At Times…Will Develop Wednesday Morning And Then Change To Rain.
Even As Temperatures Warm Well Above Freezing By Late Morning…The Cold Ground May Still Support Some Light Icing For A Time.
*Temperatures…Rising From The Upper 20S To Mid 30S.
*Winds…South 5 To 10 Mph With Gusts Up To 15 Mph.
*Impacts…Hazardous Roads And Sidewalks.
