SULLIVAN COUNTY, NY (February 18, 2014) – On Friday, February 7, 2014, radio stations WSUL/WVOS presented a $67,000 donation to Catskill
Regional Medical Center. The amount represents 100 percent of the proceeds pledged from last year’s WSUL/ WVOS Annual Heart-A-Thon. This donation will fund new telemetry systems for the Hospital.
“We are happy to know that the money raised from this event will directly benefit the community,” says General Manager of Watermark Communications and WSUL/WVOS, Helena Manzione.
The 36th Annual WSUL/WVOS Heart-A-Thon will be held at CRMC on Saturday, February 22, and will be led by co-chairs Alan Kesten of Yellow Cab, Roberta Byron Lockwood of the Sullivan County Visitors Association and Paul Carlucci of the Villa Roma Resort and Conference Center.
To date, over $450,000 has been donated to Catskill Regional for development of its Cardio Pulmonary Department.
“We are incredibly grateful for the continuous generosity of Watermark Communications,” says Catskill Regional’s CEO Dr. Gerard Galarneau. “Their support of health initiatives in our region illustrates their commitment to our community.”
