In Northeast Pennsylvania… Lackawanna…Luzerne…Northern Wayne…Southern Wayne And Wyoming. * Until 9 PM EDT This Evening * A Persistent Line Of Thunderstorms In The Region Were Producing Torrential Rainfall At Times With Intense Rainfall Rates. In Some Areas…1 To 2 Inches Of Rain Had Already Fallen With Additional Storms Expected To Move Over The Same Areas This Afternoon And Early Evening. * Heavy Rain Over The Same Locations Could Produce Significant Flash Flooding Over The Very Hilly Terrain Of The Catskills And Pocono Mountain Regions. Flooding Within The Urban Areas From Wilkes-Barre And Scranton To Monticello Could Also Occur.
