The National Weather Service In Binghamton Has Issued A * Severe Thunderstorm Warning For… Southern Delaware County In Central New York… Sullivan County In Central New York… * Until 215 PM EDT. * At 105 PM EDT…National Weather Service Doppler Radar Indicated A Line Of Severe Thunderstorms Capable Of Producing Quarter Size Hail…And Damaging Winds In Excess Of 60 Mph. These Storms Were Located Along A Line Extending From 6 Miles Northeast Of Roscoe To Livingston Manor To Bethel…And Moving East At 25 Mph. * Severe Thunderstorms Will Be Near… White Lake By 114 PM EDT… Swan Lake By 116 PM EDT… Liberty By 118 PM EDT… Mongaup Valley By 120 PM EDT… Willowemoc…Maplewood And Harris By 124 PM EDT… Neversink By 128 PM EDT… When You Can Do So Safely…Please Report Hail…Or Damaging Winds To The National Weather Service By Calling Toll Free At 1-888-603-1402…Or By Email At Bgm.Stormreport@Noaa.Gov.

Stream Flood Advisory For… Southern Delaware County… Northern Sullivan County… * Until 5:45 PM EDT * At 119 PM EDT…Doppler Radar Indicated Heavy Rain Was Falling…And Will Result In Minor Flooding Of Small Streams…Creeks And Poor Drainage Areas. * Locations In The Advisory Include But Are Not Limited To Liberty. Thunderstorms With Torrential Rainfall Will Continue To Track Across Northern Sullivan County And Far Southern Delaware County. Heavy Rainfall Will Cause Ponding Of Water On Roadways…Road Washouts And Flooding Of Poor Drainage Areas. Small Streams Will Rise Rapidly.
Excessive Runoff From Heavy Rainfall Will Cause Elevated Levels On Small Creeks And Streams…And Ponding Of Water In Urban Areas… Highways…Streets And Underpasses As Well As Other Poor Drainage Areas And Low Lying Spots.
