Dear Editor,
In response to “Nurse Jackie,” I won’t apologize to a soul for what we did. For you to judge us, not knowing each individual story is appalling.
Remember the things you learned when you first started? Like being ethical in all aspects of your nursing practice?
How about morals? The same people who ingrained in you that you must possess these qualities are the same people who were unethical and obviously lack morality.
I finished my 3 skills in under 30 minutes, just so you know. Why didn’t I pass you ask? Well I guess since you have already judged me as incompetent, then I will just let you keep believing that I am.
Just remember you will one day find yourself in some ethical dilemma and I pray that you are competent enough to do the right thing.

RESPONSIBILITIES POSTED: March 11, 2011
This full-time, tenure-track position in the Health, Social and Behavioral Sciences Division begins August 25, 2011. The Director is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Associate Degree Nursing Program, including signature responsibilities for any activities related to it, program assessment by the College, the NLN, and the State Board of Nursing, advising students, serving on committees and teaching nursing courses.
QUALIFICATIONS
Master’s degree in Nursing, (Master’s in Nursing Education preferred) with clinical experience and a current New York State license as a Registered Nurse. Previous experience in curriculum development, clinical and classroom teaching in an Associate’s degree nursing program is preferred.
