LOCH SHELDRAKE, NY (November 1, 2013) – On October 26, 2013, the Live from the Met in HD series presented Shostakovich’s “The Nose” with a libretto by Shostakovich, Yevgeny Zamyatin, Georgy Ionin, and Alexander Preis.

Quoting from that libretto: “Why do people go crazy over nonsense?”

On November 9, 2013, the Live from the Met in HD series will present Puccini’s “Tosca” with a libretto by Luigi Illica and Giuseppe Giacosa.
