WOODRIDGE, NY (July 10, 2014) – The Fallsburg Alumni Association (FAA) will be holding its 10th annual All Alumni Reunion and Buffet Luncheon on Saturday, July 19, 2014, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Woodridge Municipal Hall in Woodridge, NY.
The location was changed due to capital projects at the Fallsburg School Buildings.
Admission to the reunion is a $13 donation for one person or $25 for two (which includes a light lunch) and can be paid at the door. Advance reservations are advised and appreciated.
The mission of the FAA is to recognize the high academic achievements and good community values of the graduating seniors. FCS seniors Shane Martin, Ilyssa Weiner, John Barbiani and Adham AboHussein will receive Alumni awards. Cody Vegliante is the recipient of the Sheryl Kalter Memorial Scholarship and Logan Mednick will receive the Robynne Anderman-Pacheco award.
In addition, Blanche Cohen, retired Science teacher, will be recognized and honored for her contributions to the Fallsburg Schools and community, and the Association will acknowledge the wonderful community involvement of Charles Cohen, 1944 alumnus.
The FCS Class of ’63 celebrated their 50th Reunion last year. To commemorate the occasion, they will be awarding $1000 scholarships to Logan Mednick, Tiffani Suhm and John Barbiani at this year’s reunion.
