Since June 2009, Liz Bucar of Cottage Works has been writing on the possible dangers involved in the hydraulic fracturing practice used by oil and gas companies to reach and procure the natural gas deposits spread throughout the Marcellus Shale. The Marcellus Shale runs deep underground from Virginia through parts of New York State. Presented here are her essays.
