Known to many as The Big Easy, New Orleans is a city that has not had an “easy” time of it since the devastation caused by Hurricane Katrina. And yet the people of the city of New Orleans have shown a remarkable ability to spring back from one of the greatest tragedies of our time.

Reading these pieces transports me to New Orleans – so I’m anxious to hear about Fat Tuesday, particularly since we spent the day watching the snow fall here in Beaverkill. Great to read about Mary’s adventures on these quiet winter days.
