JEFFERSONVILLE, NY – (December 10, 2013) – Local radio station WJFF 90.5 will be airing a special holiday program of highlights from area school holiday concerts on Sunday December 22 from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. and again Sunday December 29 at the same time. The program will also be available live by webstream or for later download online at www.wjffradio.org.
“As a community radio station, WJFF is excited to be able to continue its unique tradition of providing programming to our neighbors, created by our neighbors,” says Adam Weinreich, WJFF’s Interim Station Manager.The holiday concert programs will feature selections from upcoming holiday concerts by the choirs and bands of schools across WJFF’s listening area, as well as interviews with some of the students and staff involved, and a few other special treats.
Most area schools have already signed up, but any additional schools interested in being featured should have the head of their music department contact Patrick at 845-482-4141 or email patrick@wjffradio.org. Recordings need to be submitted in MP3 or CD format no later than Wednesday, December 18 for inclusion in this special broadcast.
