Homeless in the Land of Plenty – A Series, with stories and photos by Ted Waddell, appears on the front page of the Catskill Chronicle. The series began in December and will continue into the near future. If there is such a County-wide need for a shelter, then why is this sheter being brought into the village and infringing on the municipal services of the villaage.
If as Mr White states ““I always wanted to do something to help in the county,” said White. “There has to be something more than just yourself.”
“Yes, there are people who take advantage of the system, but sometimes luck just doesn’t go your way, and there’s got to be someone there to help in the community and society you live in.” he wants to help in his community then open this shelter in HIS neighborhood!!!!
