As the summer of 2009 began, Anthony Luigi Santoro (who grew up in Livingston Manor) had a plan. He would take his motorcycle and ride solo to Alaska and back to where he now lives in Brooklyn.
These are the day to day journal entries from, in Anthony Santoro’s words, an “epic adventure doing something that he’s neither qualified nor courageous enough to undertake, but is doing it anyway. Damn you Alaska for being so far, and so tempting!”
We hope that you enjoy them. Feel free to leave comments and perhaps become inspired to head out on your own “adventure” be it near or far.
